Zip Up the Night

This is one of the visual concepts that's been bouncing around my head a lot lately. I've thought of numerous designs using this zipper concept, but finally decided to start with this day/night scene. I have really enjoyed the grounding moments of watching the gradual transition from sunset to starlight every night, and hope this piece captures a bit of that energy.
